NMS Athletic Updates:

1/22 will be NMS 8th Grade Basketball Recognition & Cheer Recognition.
1/22 vs. Pelion Middle School (Girls-5:30PM/Boys Following)

1/26 White Knoll Girls have forfeited their game to NMS Girls Basketball due to not having enough players to participate. The boys game will begin at 5:30PM on 1/26/26 Monday if weather permits.

If there are any changes, NMS Admin. or Athletic Officials will announce future updates.

In Boys Action the NMS Boys Basketball Team defeated BLMS (Batesburg Leesville Middle School 61-8 on the road) Overall Record: 4-7

The Lady Tigers won again 44-10 against the Lady Panthers of Batesburg Leesville Middle School. Girls Record: 9-2

It was truly our pleasure to give you a tour of our campus and introduce you to the students, faculty, and staff who were able to join us.

Thank you as well for the donuts for our faculty and for taking the time to write letters and personally deliver them to NMS. Your letters to our Students of the Month, i-Ready award winners, and grade-level award recipients—as well as to our outstanding faculty and staff—meant so much to our school community and are greatly appreciated.

These students were selected as our Students of the Week for the first week of MLP Academy. They were recognized for their outstanding participation, consistent effort, and positive attitudes toward learning.
Mildred is a natural leader who consistently encourages her group members and offers help when needed.
William attended every session and gave his best effort each day.
Bentey completes all tasks, asks questions when needed, and always volunteers to share his ideas.
